I AM VERY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL
I begin by thanking God, for all things work together for his good, and with Him, all things are possible!
I am deeply grateful for my family, especially my Mom and Dad, who are now resting in the arms of the Creator. Their memory lives on through my beloved brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
A special shout-out goes to the vibrant musicians in the Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Windsor, Ontario music scenes. While there are too many to list individually, every single one of you has played an important part in my journey.
To all creators on YouTube and TikTok: your content has been a lifeline during the past couple of years, which have been rather challenging, to say the least. Your reactions and insights provided comfort when I needed it most.

GIVING CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE
This project would not have come to life if not for the following musicians, Mike Lilley - drums, Dama Chindamo - bass guitar, and Luigi Miceli - vocals.
The songs ‘Here We Go,’ ‘Courageous Destiny,’ and ‘Open the Seam’ were originally recorded by these musicians and myself, back in 1999.
Over the years, I've always wanted to add more to what was originally recorded because simply, it was a rush job.
All of the playing is modelled and very closely copied by me on these versions of the songs because I enjoyed the performance so much (of course with my musical ability added which wasn't very much).
Thanks also to Keith Davis who originally engineered and mixed everything. Those versions of the songs are out there some where - You might come across them one day.

Here We Go – The Etymology
I wrote this song in 1997 while studying music at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario.
I'd been fascinated with songwriting since my teenage years. I was a Rush fan from the first time I heard them, and Neil Peart's lyrics opened my eyes. I wrote dozens of songs in my teens, trying to mimic his vocal style — yet it was a disaster, since I was imitating the sound without understanding what the words meant. There was a lot to learn.
When I returned to study music at college, I came across a book by Janis Ian that had a lot of great exercises I put into practice. When I began writing again, the first breakthrough I had was "Here We Go."
I originally wrote it in the key of D. A friend came over and suggested I do something to give it a different tonality, so I added a section in A. The rest is history.
It was also the first time I'd ever written a song entirely in my head, music-wise — a skill I've developed further over the years.
The song was originally recorded in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, at the old Satellite Sound studio. It was a rush job — recorded in eight hours alongside two other songs. Still, it was a great experience being in the studio.
