This project bridges three decades of songwriting, blending the raw, guitar-driven sound of the past with lyrics refined for today:

Part 1 (1997): The Foundation. Pure, unfiltered classic rock roots.

Part 2 (2009–2010): The Evolution. Honing the song craft during a decade of change.

Part 3 (2020–2026): The Revival. Music recorded in 2020 meets lyrics written across the years, including, the latest new lines penned this year.

From Spanish, Ontario, to the analog soul of Classic Rock

The Andre Albert Burns Project is a Gen X songwriting endeavour born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and fuelled by a lifelong devotion to Classic Rock. From crafting toy guitars in his father’s workshop at age 9 to performing on stages across Canada, Andre’s journey has evolved into a full-time pursuit of authentic, guitar-driven storytelling.

Channelling the raw energy of 70s, 80s and 90s rock icons like UFO, Styx, and the Foo Fighters, the project writes songs that resonate with the grit and honesty of the analog generation. While the focus remains on refining a catalogue of original music in the studio, the spirit of the live show is never far behind. Currently writing, recording, producing, and engineering new material, The Andre Albert Burns Project proves that the golden era of rock is alive and well in Northern Ontario.
